When a person commits his or her life to Jesus at a Festival, it is just the first step of a lifelong journey.
All the people who come forward at a Festival (called inquirers) are asked by counselors to state their church preference or the name of the church that invited them. This is then recorded on a counseling card, which is sent to ministers of participating churches for follow-up and nurture.
If a person has not listed a church, or has never belonged to one, a copy of the card will be sent to a participating church that is closest to the inquirer’s home.
Neighborhood Discovery Groups are small group Bible Studies in the neighborhoods of Festival Inquirers who may not have an opportunity to participate in this type of study in their own church.
